Default First Portrait Retouching

Hi,

I never used to use Photoshop to edit my images, instead i used Lightroom, which I believe is a stunning software for us photographers. But after a lot of recommendations and suggestions from some really nice people on DPS, I tried my hand on Photoshop. I kind of like it as well. I followed some retouching tips from the Lynda's Tutorial for CS5 and this is what came out.

A lot of use of layers and spot healing brush, which is probably the best of the Photoshop for photographers. Used sharpening tools, created a duplicate layer, and stuff. I dont really remember those tools atm. But yea you can find them in Lynda's tutorial in the retouching folder.

Here is a sample of my work. Took me quite some time to do it, i am not sure if it is good enough in the experts eye. Please please please do let me know how the processing went by.

Thanks

Um, everything you did here you can do in LR. Obviously I mean that for the results, not the steps taken since you can't create layers in LR. Or did you do something else I'm missing?
Having said that, I do have PS, I just use LR 98% of the time.
