Default Moon in Willow

Original looked a bit bland. Don't know if I helped it or not.

TFL Quo Fan, Other than belligerently using the "Hue" to get the purple background, I wanted to give the tree some dimension instead of the flat silhouette in the original. So I used the "Impressionist" brush in "lighten" mode to create my own highlights on the trunk and limbs. I didn't particularly care for the "comic book" results, but I've only had the PSE 9 for a few weeks, and I'm sure there are better ways of getting the results I was after. Any suggestions?
