Default First Attempt

I have have dabbled in photoshop but this picture was my first real attempt to improve from the original.
The Beginning
EXIF
Exposure:0.004 sec (1/250)
Aperture f/13.0
Focal Length 46 mm
ISO Speed 200
High Speed Pass
I added a hue layer and tweaked the saturation and intencity of the blue to make the sky look more blue and alive as well as increase the contrast in the sky and corn.I then used an unsharp mask to increase the sharpness of the picture. I finished by adding a little vignetting and adjusting the lighting slightly since the increased contrast was a bit to dark. That left me with this
Loving the snow

Please thoughts on if you like the picture to much to little what you would have done different all our welcome. I am still learning and practicing with all this so any comments are welcomed and appreciated.

Thumbs up Good one.

I like it... Couldn't believe that this is the first attempt. I could clearly see the difference between the two. Good job.

It is a very nice first try.

The issue for me is that the dog is not in focus and the face is in shadow.

Cropped and adjusted the exposure in Lightroom going down the module. Then to Photoshop for some specifics. Selected both eyes and lightened in Hue/Saturation Layer. New layer selection of the head and upper body of the dog. Feathered selection and used Lab Mode method for sharpening. I considered a panning sort of motion blur, but decided to go plain for the demonstration.

I didn’t think that the vignette worked, especially because of the sky. I would even consider cropping the sky further down to focus more on the dog.

Default That's a great photo!

I used PSKiss Tone gear Pro to boost the tones and saturation.
Then, added a new layer in Overlay blending mode and painted with 10% white to lighten the dog's face and to darken the snow.
Finally, I Used PSKiss Edge Gear for edge enhancement.
Hope you like it

I think a little less contrast in the sky would be good, that would reduce the tone imperfections and allow the dog to be more in focus.

you added some lightning in the picture, but it does not match the dog shade on the ground
