![]() here is a before and after retouch i did of my face lol I adjusted the levels, dodged out the background completely, used the clone stamp tool A LOT, the color mixer tool to blend in some skin tones, fixed my saggy chin, enhanced eyes, darkned my shirt, added a radial gradient to the background Liquified my head to make it more right, copied+pasted+mirrored some body parts to make them symmetrical, and also used the liquify tool to make some body parts more level lol WHEW what do you guys think?

I am by no means an expert and have a lot to learn in post processing, but I absolutely love it! The only things I'd spend a bit more time on are the redness under your nose and your eyebrows. (Being male, I'll let you off the eyebrow thing, but if you google 'how to pluck eyebrows' you'll get a good idea! Lol.)
Thanks for sharing... I wish I was this good. |

I'm quite impressed, PhotoExtremist! You achieved a much more polished looking image and yet retained a natural look, not an easy accomplishment when you have done that much work to it. As for the eyebrows, well, they follow the upward direction of the eyes so they add to the overall impact! Thanks for the explanations!

Looking at the full sized images on your flickr, I must say it's quite impressive...
The chin fix particularly as it looks 100% natural. I have to say though...if it were going to take 2hrs to "fix" I'd have to find a better looking model.
