I figured I would try breathing something special into a rather mundane image. I think I have succeeded. Let me know what you think.

Wow love the effect that you have created here, don't know that I would've bothered keeping #1 if it was mine but the after shot is great. Love the atmosphere, don't think the alleyway looks very inviting anymore

Second that! Looks like the cover for an indie rock band. Either that or something Dean Koontz would write about - if he could get off the dog kick he's got going lately.

Not sure of the total adjustments but it was done in Lightroom 3. I know it was fast and furious, took about 3 minutes to adjust to make the green stuff jump right off the wall. Mainly this was a matter of saturation and sharpening if that helps.
