Default Low key portraits - need some opinons!!!!

Lightroom - Nik software - Photoshop

One flash and a camera :P

I guess it dpends on what you are going for. I personally like both "before" shots especially the second one. The natural color of the wood and his skin tone look good. I'm not fond of the "blueness" of the first "after" and the second "after" is just a bit to dark. All in all though, I think they are good.

+1 The blue skin etc makes it look the wb was off. Originals work better for me too

I like it, and I like the grain.... I would probably crop it so his head ends in the upper right hand corner of the frame (so he flows from lower left to upper right), but it does work for me the way it is.

Number 2 is too blue for my taste. But this is a matter of personal bias. Like 1 and 3 because of natural skin tones. However I REALLY like number 4. I am partial to low key portraits.
