Default WWII fighters

I did this photos last saturday at the MCAS Miramar Air Show and then I decided to give them a vintage look, so please let me know what you think of the edition.

Corsair

Before

After

I did the process using CS4 and was like this:

Applied the black&white setting, then I reduced the red filter. After that I add noise and the applied the texturize filter with soft grain. In order to take out the color from the texture I applied again the black&white setting.

Mustang

Before

After

The process for this photo was quite the same as the previos photo, the only differences were after applying the b&w setting I also applied tint to obtain the light sepya effect and the I used a harder grainy texturize filter.

Thanks for viewing.

I was at the air show too. I like the second photo you did. You might add some vignetting to give it an even more aged look.

Here is one I shot

I loved it. I am ex-Navy so it made me a little home sick. I loved the Navy.

I was there from around 2 to 5. It took us 2 hours to get on and off the base.

I was standing near the budwiser booth on the west side of the stands.

The only shot I really wanted and missed completely was the sonic boom.

Too much noise on the second for my liking. And it could do with a bit of Levels adjustment to increase contrast. And a sky transplant.

I am in a bad mood, sorry.

I was quite close to you!!, I was near the Budwiser boot (truck), but I was in the crowd about 20 feet from the flight line.

I hear you when you say you toke 2 hours to get on, last year it toke me about 4 hours to get to the parking lot, that is why I decided to go earlier this year, it really toke me about 15 mins. to get to the parking lot, once I exit the I-5.

Cheers!
