Default Lone Tree

I've been using this technique for a while now and am quite pleased with the results; it involves converting to B&W with the little-known Calculations command. This shot is a composite of two such converted images, given a final split-toning effect with Gradient Map.

If there's enough interest I'll put together a tutorial.

Before:

f/16, 1/125sec, ISO 500, w. polariser.

After:

Hope you like it.

I'm not the biggest fan of greenish split tones but it works here.
I'd be interested to know more about your calculations b&w conversion.

I love it.

I would be quite interested in a tutorial, I've just started to scratch the surface in experimenting with tinted b&w shots, and that's only with the basic split toning in LR/CR.
