The work……your work in processing and the whole editing is nice. Don’t get me wrong you did a great job.

But why a baby propped up against a headstone, in a graveyard, with your profile name with a passed away date? Why would you even put that out there? AND on the Internet??? My birth certificate doesn’t have an expiration date on it and I would hate to think yours does either.

I know I'm going to come across as the bad guy and I'm seriously I’m not trying to be rude…I’m trying to GET the image.
Please do not feed the trolls.

I like the image. People take death too seriously, like avoiding the topic will somehow make them immortal. We're all going to someday cease to exist, period. The notion that huge stone would fall over on him at that exact moment seems silly. I liked the second image better, but with the original name on it. Either way, nice job editing.

I was taken aback by the grief I've received over this photo, I'm no sociopath I have empathy but I honestly didn't understand why some people were reacting so negatively to this photo.

Because many people are very fond of superstitious claptrap. I once tried to show some colleagues some shots I'd taken at night in a small country cemetery and most were aghast that I had even attempted such a thing.

Great, thought provoking shot you have there.

Certainly challenges the whole "don't tempt fate" thing by creating your own headstone, but hey, what about all those visualization exercises used in business classes and such: "Write your obituary for 20 years from now. How would you like to be remembered?"

Very nice edit, regardless of the content.

Thanks for sharing!
