Default Lyon in the "traboules"

So here we are: during a visit in Lyon I shot this picture, in HDR.

Now, I don't expect it to be very sharp, it coming from 6 shots bracketed in 2 sequences, handheld, but I was quite pleased that for a small print it could be OK.
Then as I had about finished, I realized that the colors were very very saturated, and turning the saturation down in Lightroom just made the whole picture washed out.

So I made a virtual copy of the picture, applied the stock preset called "partial coloring 3" ("virage partiel 3", I don't know its name in the English version).
I then opened both pictures in Photoshop as layers, and lowered the opacity for the "original" one down to about 35%. Flattened, saved, exported, and there you go:

Now it looks much more natural, and most people wouldn't guess that something's amiss with the picture until they try to take the same picture with their P&S...

What do you think?
