The lighting on the bridge has red blue green white, and purple. Due to leaving the shutter open, the colors that will be dominent will be the blues and purples as they are the strongest colors. (they are often used the most) They seem to use a lot more lighting on the bridge between July 1 and 4th though as we have a festival on both sides, here in fort erie and in buffalo to celebrate the 2 countries birthdays.

I am hoping to get some time in the next couple weeks when I get the new Canon, and going to head over to Niagara falls and play tourist (I live about 15 minutes from the falls) and get some shots of it at night with all the lights they use.

i think this one looks better because the color is not hat highlighted and like the first one...

I agree. The variant (3rd photo) looks the best, in my opinion. It is a nice in-between. Nice photo!
