Default Before and after and afterer...

Basically, I'm trying to get opinions from people on this shot as to which end result they like best (or if they think the original colors are best) but also figure maybe someone else would be interested in the technique used to color the one. I actually did two "afters" on this one (and hope that's OK with the moderators.) Also feel free to criticize any (or all) at will, even though this isn't the "critique" section.

Here's the original:

Variation 1:

To get this one, I went into camera raw and adjusted the temp, exposure, etc. Then went to the HSL tab and took the green down to -100, the orange up to +100 and the yellow to +15. Opened it in photoshop and then used a very soft, broad brush with red and then with orange (both set to a low opacity) and just brushed in some added color on some of the leaves.

I also did some sharpening using the highpass filter on a second layer with the blending set to overlay.

Variation 2:

To get this one, after adjusting exposure, etc, I used the grayscale option in camera raw and then the split-toning. Highlights set to 44 hue and 50 saturation, shadows to 188 hue and 15 saturation. Then into photoshop for some sharpening.

On both, I also used a vignette in camera raw of -34 amount, 39 midpoint and 39 feather with style set to "highlight priority."

I like the middle one. It's a perfect example of a clean work. the blend does not show up, and looks original. But the house needed more light.
