Hi, I took these photos over the weekend. While the sunset behind the hills, there wasn't much color by the time I got this composition.
Here is first edit, very little editing here : ![]() To add some color, I did split toning to get the one below. I like the reflections on the water, but the sky looks artificial and boring. Any ideas on how to make the sky more interesting? Possibly add some clouds? I use Lightroom 3 and CS5. There was only one bird in the original photo, I cloned the other one, not sure if shows?? ![]() Thanks.

Overall the first photo is very nice. the additional bird is good, but I think you have too much orange on the water. It is starting to look more "muddy" now. You might just increase the vibrance or the exposure a bit and then leave it alone. the colors do not have to rip the retinas from the eye to be enjoyable.

Thanks everyone for your input.
I don't have an image with clouds and more or less similar sky tone. The white clouds from a blue sky dont seem to blend well. I guess I'll leave this one alone for now.
