Default 1 image, 2 different effects at the same time and aloooot of free time...!!

Before:

just out of reach

After:

just out of reach: a reworking.....

Ok so not the best image to use, some would say, but i got the point across for the "Coming Out of the Frame" effect....

Heres the tutorials I used to create this:

Tutorial 1: Coming out of the frame

Tutorial 2: Reflection

now i adapted the 2nd youtube tutorial for this image, because where as the tutorial shows a level bottomed image/word, I had an agled image so i had to use the scew tool in PS to make the reflection line up to the bottom of the image (gives a slight distortion, but not enough to distract...)

I do this all the time. I want to learn a new concept so I pick an image from storage that may not be the best but, hey, I just want to learn how to use the techiniqu. Once mastered it rarely takes long to find exactly the right stituation for the technique and voila', you look like a hero. Who cares that this isn't the perfect image for this technique; you've got a new tool in your toolbox.
