after ( I first cropped, then I created a layer for color fill layer mask where I also filtered with an artistic watercolor ( I think) then created another layer for hue adjustments)

I actually like the original pic better. I think the edited one needs more color.

Instead of applying the PS filters to this, I think it would make a fantastic black and white image.

I do favor the first one or possibly a black and white and what about cropping it to take the boy out (unless he is yours also) might brong more focus to her
