Default Setup

Hi Everyone,
I have a Nikon D90 and a MacBook Pro.
I would like to use my MacBook pro as an external monitor to show my shot real time (as seen at any photoshoot on TV). I was wondering what software I should use.
Thanks for the help!!

Hi & welcome.
Of course there is the Nikon software- that may be your best bet.
There aren't a lot of freeware version for mac but google is your friend.

Although I know this is in the wrong section I have to ask. In my hopefulness, zona, your reply almost implies that there is freeware tethering software for PC. The only freeware I've found is the one you linked to for Mac so I'm just hoping there is such an animal for PC, lol.

As much as I love Nikon, between the cost of their tethering software and their pathetic response to the need for a RAW codec for Windows 7 64 bit users they really need to step up their approach to their customers needs/desires. JMHO

The public beta for Lightroom 3 also supports tethering.

Don't feel bad Airwalker. I've been searching off and on for a while as well and never came across these. Thanks from me as well, Zona! You too, Ark. If that is the case it might just be reason enough to get me to finally use Lightroom.
