I took this picture of a tree on a hill at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC in February 2010. One of the things I like about this photo is that it lends itself to creative post-processing, which I applied in the following examples using Photoshop CS. The first is the original shot. Let me know what you think...

Nice work! I really like the orange and the purple one. How did you get the grass to look so freaking real???

Thanx! On the purple sky version I used the saturation levels in Photoshop CS. In the orange sky version I used the Mix Channels tool. The cool thing is that it is Bermuda grass, which was dormant at the time and completely brown and dead looking. But the texture is still there, so by mixing channels and playing with saturation levels I was able to get color in the grass.
