Hi, I'm new to the boards and thought I'd share one of my recent before and afters. Ive had ps for years but never really learned how to use it until recently.

For this photo i used the Clone tool to extend the blanket in each corner.

Spot heal tool to remove blemishes / bumps

Surface blur to the face ( minus eyes )

Sharpen filter to the eyes.

Levels

Shadows / highlights

Brightness / contrast

Dodge and burn

Noise filter

You have put a lot of time into the picture that obviously has paid off.

The only addition thing that I would have done is to change the aspect ratio to 10x8, cropping out the dead space on the LH side. This would 'move' the head off-center which would be 'balanced' by the outstretched arm.

I have found the DPS community very friendly & learned a lot by participating - hope you become a regular contributor.
