first time working with Photoshop

This is my first time working with photoshop. Was just playing around with it. Let me know what you think.

The little girl is absolutely adorable and I can't imagine any picture looking bad with her in it but I can't say I like the new background. You already have a fairly plain background that does not clash or distract from the girl. If I was to run this through PS I would most likely get rid of the two little protruding corners on the door panels and tweaky the skin tones a bit, but that is about it.

I'd have to agree with Lee on that one. She's very cute and the playful gaze as she looks into the camera was captured nice. The new background is a bit busy. The original looks nice as it is for the reasons that Lee states.
