Recently, I was in Peoria, AZ and ran across one of the Mariposa County Sheriff's infamous chain gangs cleaning up oranges from the medians. The pink underwear and the retro prisoner stripes just begged a photo!
The only shot I could really get had the big street sign in the way. It was really bugging me! This forum inspired me to remove it... I'm pretty happy with the results. Thanks to all you DPS participants! Before: ![]() After: ![]() The sign removal was pretty much done entirely with the clone brush. The tree was actually the easiest. I chose several clone origins to avoid obvious repeating. The inmate's stripes and lettering obliterated by the post were a bit of a challenge. I tried to preserve the shadowing, etc. I cloned the obliterated lettering form the inmate's uniform to the left. I also had to do some repair on the bucket and glove towards the bottom. Obvious cropping, brightness, and contrast tweaking and it was a done deal. Thanks for any comments!
