So I saw this trick somewhere and couldn't remember where. But I try and play with my photographs (unsuable) everyday to see if there is anything I can do to them to make them better. And while I liked the overall picture, something about it just wasn't cutting it for me.
![]() ![]() Steps taken: 1. Color Correction/Crop the usual 2. I made a duplicate to work with 3. Motion Blur (approx 200) will have to play with the amount to suit your taste. 4. Added layer mask to unmask the sunset and boat. A well as part of the water. 5. That's it! The blending of the colors after the blur just gives it a real silky effect wich I know enjoy. Feel free to ask questions or critique. Or to look at a bigger version on my flickr page Thanks

To me, the textures in the original shot make it more interesting.
