Default Dock of the Bay

My Father-n-law originally sent me this picture from his iphone, I thought it was a potentially good shot so I decided to tweak it.

BEFORE:
From © 2010 gstock photography

I brought the image into Photoshop:
- Straighten the horizon line.
- Clone Stamped in the upper left hand corner for the rest of the blue sky
- Clone Stamped the bottom left hand corner to take out the railing
- Clone Stamped out the power line and boey
- Copied the image and split it into two: Top – sky / Bottom – Water
- Adjusted ‘levels’ in Top – Sky
- Adjusted ‘levels’ in Bottom – Water (I adjusted them separately in order to not over composite for one or the other)
- Merged the two layers back together
- Clone Stamped the sky a little more in order to lower the horizon line a little.

Very nice. A great upgrade from an iPhone shot.

I really like it. Nice edit

One suggestion though, it could maybe do with a bit of sharpening and noise reduction.
