Hi,
Just want to share another idea using Polar Coordinates in Photoshop ... This was the original picture :
Then I did the following steps in photoshop: 1. Filter - Distort - Polar Coordinates - and set to Polar to Rectangular option. 2. Copy the result then move it down (make sure you have enough canvas space), and rotate it by flipping vertically, until perfectly mirrored. 3. Once again, Filter - Distort - Polar Coordinates - and set to Rectangular to Polar option ... 4. Done and I got this :
