Default Before and after night portrait using LightRoom.

Hi Everyone

was just having a bit of a fiddle around with my new Adobe Lightroom and was amazed by some of the lighting effects it can have on some shots. All the changes in the shot below where done completely in lightroom. Any comments or critiques welcome.

You might want to add some negative clarity to her face to kill the shine some. Also you might want to boost the black in the background to fade out some of the clutter. Nice job on what you have done.

kirbinster, just wondering...Why do you have 3 cameras with the same sensor? The d300 has better autofocus but I don't see why would you need a d500 and a d90? Hope I didn't come off rude because I don't mean to be.

looks good. I have been using Lightroom3 beta for a few months now. I like that I can manipulate jpegs like they are RAW files. I am going to have to purchase it when the free part is done.

Need? Don't need. I started with a D40, and then got a great deal on a D80. About six months later I found a deal on a D300 that was very good. I then gave the D40 with my 18-55 and 55-200 to my father. Then a friend got me a D5000 that "fell of a truck" for $200 -- who could pass that up. Then I found a D90 with only 22 clicks for $450 from a pro that did not like it. So, I sold my D80 for about $525. That is how I ended up with three.

I like all three. I use them for different things. The D5000 is great to just carry around as it is so light. When I go out shooting many times I will take two of them so that I don't have to change lenses.
