Default Star-shaped Sunrise Flare

My first image on DPS in about a year! Took this shot last weekend during a family trip to Pine, AZ. I took this shot shortly after sunrise. Love the flare!

HOW I DID IT:
To get the star-shaped flare, I shot at F16. I learned this trick on this DPS post.

To brighten up the landscape, I played around with the shadows and highlights, levels and curves. Then I increased the contrast and saturation. I also straightened the image and added a warm filter.

Nice job. I love the way the reds and yellows got pumped up.

Great shot, Jocelyn!! Love the starburst effect, usually only obtained with filters. Nicely done, and welcome back in fine fashion!! TFS

Why, thank you! Where in AZ are you? I'm in Tucson. Do you know the rest of the Tucson crew? (leona, linda, angella, etc)

I'm in Casa Grande. No, I don't know the others -- at least not by first name. None of those names ring a bell to me right now. I'm sure I've probably seen them around DPS before or at least seen some of their photos.
