Default corn liqueur rocket booster.....

now, there's a title for you.....

before

_MG_5612

originally i had hoped the shot would come off a little more energetic than this.....the whiskey didn't give me as much of a flame as i had hoped..so i decided to pump up the flame....

_MG_5612c

i selected some of the blue flame and tossed it around with the liquify too.....transformed it a bit larger and set it just above the shot glass.....duplicated this layer, flipped it and warped it a little more and set this layer over the last......reduced opacity of both layers until i almost "believed it".......then, i began a slow slide into pp hell.......i added a bit of orange to the flame......thought outer space was where i needed to be so i made a star layer out of black with a lot of noise added......set this to screen and went about making some clouds out of blurred white.and reducing opacity.....

i spent way too much time on this......

Cool shot! ( or should I have said hot shot?) I like how this turned out and love the reflection. Now if it had only been Crown Royal I would have loved it even more!

Very nice PP work. Time spent in PP is never a waste - sometimes you learn what NOT to do. In this case, however, it was well worth the effort because it works! TFS

I like the PP work that you did. But I gotta be honest... I like the first version better. But then again, I am a simple guy with simple taste.

That's neat! Save the original for when you need to put a rocket on something someday. The after is cool too.

What a waste of good whisky! But both are cool shots.
