Default DUH fixed

I had posted this shot in the SYS section last week and after looking at the EXIF data I noticed the light source as "shade". DUH I had the camera set wrong, I did notice the sky was a muddy color. I am still not very good at processing RAW images so I often use the jpg but I still shoot in RAW + jpg. I opened the RAW file, set lighting to daylight and that brought the sky to life. Adjust levels, crop, add frame. Looks much nicer now I think. I have saved many images using RAW but I still need to learn much more about the processing to improve.

Ill try the black frame and see if it does anything for me. I do like the moon and truer white of the plane in the 2nd shot, it really was white white. The first shot also has a tighter crop.

I haven't figured out how to pp in raw either. I really like the second one better, but I prefer the closer crop in the first one. You have so much blue sky that the tiny plane can easily get lost. But the difference in colors is amazing...that was just adjusting light balance in RAW? I must figure that out!!

Yes, the camera was set to the incorrect white balance setting, shade. The RAW file dosent set WB so I just chose the correct daylight setting, Then did a levels adjustment as well. Im thinking there may be too much green hue in the 2nd? I do like the tighter crop of the 1st but I think the moon is not bright enough and the sky color looks wrong to me.
