This is a first attempt to experiment with motor vehicle blur. I used bulb mode, a remote and held the shutter open for about 16 seconds, f22, ISO at 160, 35mm focal length. What might I have done to make this a better image and composition? As always, thanks for your input.

perhaps another angle to actually show the road more. To me it appears to be red rushing accros the screen and if the road were mor ein view it would make more sense.

I like the concept, with the streaks of light on the lower left breaking away from the main stream.
However, I agree with windrider86. Personally, my focus on the road is distracted by the tree on the middle left and moving to another angle could show more of the road and hance keep the eye in the frame. It also seems like there is a lot of traffic and the red streaks have become a little blotchy as more and more cars have passed... taking the shot with a shorter shutter speed would help with this.
