Hi and welcome to the group. You have demonstrated the concept of selective focus and shallow depth of field. I assume that is what you were going for. However as a photograph, it lacks a message or subject. I supose my question would be , "What were you thinking about when you snapped the shot? Compositionwise, the horizontal wires tend to distract and lead my eye out the right side of the image and keep me from investigating further, the out-of-focus image of the person. What camera and lens are you using? Enjoy your new camera. I'll be happy to help where I can.

On another note...I really like the shot and think the title really gets me thinking about the location. I like how the person is abstract and how you get the feeling of being a spectator. I agree with clockdoc that there could be a bit more message, maybe if the person was in a more emotional pose or there was a racket by somehow in the scene (held up or over the shoulder resting). I also agree about the horizantle wires but I didn't really notice it till I read clockdoc brought it up. One thing I really like about this show it the lighting. The person really stands out to me with the red in the shirt and the hair seems a bit red as well. This really stands out nice against the blue and green surrounding her. Very nice shot
