Default Football on Snow

Lets play

I like the general Idea of this shot but I think that I could definitly improve it..Maybe increase the saturation so the Ball pops out more? Also I think its a bit dark..

What do you think?

Default Yellow snow

It might just be me, but the bottom left corner seems to have a bit of yellow-ish snow. Coupled with the dog-prints, it makes an interesting statement.

Perhaps you can get a shot of the dog playing with the ball. You may be able to adjust the white balance in post processing to brighten up your first post.

My suggestion is to adjust the white balance (check the histogram and adjust the white level) so that the greyish-looking snow (and ball) get whiter.

Yes , you can increase the saturation to boost the yellow, but I doubt whether this this will have much effect until you clean up the white balance.

Luftschiff,

A subject (ball) touching frame is almost never a good idea, creating a sense of tightness, distraction, out-of-balance composition. Just a little breathing/moving room makes a photo easier to enjoy.
