Striking colours but I would rather have some of the details a bit sharper. Rather than pulling me close to admire it, the softness keeps me at arms length.

Was this straight from camera or post-processed?

I don't know, I really like the softness, just the right touch of sentimental tenderness. As if it were a fond memory...

Talking Softness

I don't mind the softness in this picture at all, though I can see how it would be distracting that just the middle of the flower is sharp. Could this be caused by a very low depth of field? What aperature was this taken with?

I love the way the focus kind of draws you right into the photo! Beautiful colors.

Default Great Flower Shot

Great image, love the soft focus. How about cloning out those little bits on top of the center of the flower? Minor point but...

One other thing you could try is lowering the saturation a little, it is a matter of taste but sometimes more subtle coloring is more gentle to the eye.

Wow~~~what a beautiful picture!

Are you a professional photographer? Your picture is quite good and expertise. You must be very good at taking the focal points. This work is really attractive~~~ We can clearly see the shadows of this flower and the pistils of the flower is very clear. Your color is very brilliant and you have successfully presented the details of the petals. However, I think this work would be more splendid if you show us some soft elements. Besides, this work seems to be a processed one~~~
