A solid photo but I think I wold over look it if i saw it in a magazine or something. Though I cant think of anything to improve it.

Instead of dying for a drink in the desert, I thirst for color in this photo. One on occasion can be really effective. This just seems too little, and mostly another practice for your post processing. Keep practicing, and remember variety is the spice of life.

I think you should make the whole cactus and the flowers on it really colorful and just leave the background as it is.

I think the pic looks a bit dull ( not anything you did specifically) Maybe if the sky were blue- Is this the original color of the cactus? ( maybe if the cactus were a green. color is what I'm thinking- too much grey tone.
