Default Fishy Face

I love this picture of my best friends little girl... I took it at the water park when she was showing me her "Fishy Face". You remember doing that as a kid, right?! Unfortunately it's not focused as sharply as it could have been (I'm realizing photographing constantly moving toddlers is rather difficult)... any suggestions and critique are much appreciated.

For shooting constantly moving things, a fast shutter speed is a must. Just make sure you are compensating with your aperture or ISO to get enough light onto the sensor.
You say the focus is off, but what I'm seeing is what looks to be a small image that has been enlarged, resulting in a blurry, pixelated image.
If this is not the case, I'm curious as to what, if anything has been done to this.
Maybe a problem with the uploading from the computer to the hosting site or something.

Continious shooting mode is not always necessary for kids shooting.. but its a handly tool to play with...Foucs seems to okey to me.. but her blurred left hand shows me that your camera(or you) choose a unusual slow shutter speed... Whenever you click the shutter for an action pic. Just check that your sutter speed should be typically more than 1/250..On a bright sunny day.. it should be achived..I am confused why not for you.. care to share the EXIF data of the shot.
