Here is a photo of my son at the playground. Some new kids were there and he wasn't sure how to take them.

I was using my 50mm (told you I can't seem to put it down!!) It was a really sunny day so the sky in the back is completely unrecoverable.

You have a very nice looking son. He appears to be curious and unsure at the same time. Nice shot. Have you tried to "Tint" the sky? You can do that in Picasa and still retain the original color in the rest of your image. If you do edit this, please post your results. Thanks for sharing this.

Nice shot! You really captured his mixed feelings about the new kids. I like how his face is shadowed but there's a little sunlight on his sleeve and hand. I would suggest possible cropping a little off the right to extend the appearance of his gaze to the left
