Default Apathetic Hound

Well, not really, its just you like names of stuff I am led to believe...

Well, this is my first ever SLR camera (first actual camera I have owned which wasn't a phone...) and pretty much the first photo I took with it, well, first one which actually came out okay...

I know its pretty poor, but any help would be nice thanks



Oh yeh, its of my golden retriever called Roxy

gorgeous dog. every time i try to take a pic of mine, i end up with a pic of his backside. he hates his picture been took.

i think it would of been even better if you got the top of your dog head in the frame.

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind for next time, she was just walking and then collapsed in her basket so I had to stop snapping

There is a tiny bit of flash in her eye (I couldn't work out how to take it off when I took it, lol, worked it out now)...should I photoshop it out? If so, how?

I don't think you should photoshop it out ... it's like a sparkle in his eye ...

I agree with carl yeomans... Not great to be missing the top of the head.

Flash in eyes (I think is called catch-light), in my opinion, add more depth of 'the windows to the soul' and perfectly fine by me. Some photographers I know have struggled with angles and such to achieve the same effect. Great shot.
