I think a high angle would have been good for this shot. If you have the ability, I'd reshoot and see what it looks like.
For this picture though, I'd remove the window on the left by cropping it. Try black and white.

Love it! I think it could use a little vignetting just to focus the eye on the statue a little more, but I would definitely leave in the window. It just gives you a sense of story and feeling of the location.

I really want to go back and reshoot it. The area where the statue is has a really cool feel to it, you can almost ignore the busy highway behind you. I couldn't move around and concentrate too much as I had my dog pulling on her leash as I was taking the picture.

I agree with Joe. The window keeps drawing my eye away from the statue. Try different angles and see if that helps to simplify things a little bit more.
