Yup, I like it too!!
I dont mind the blur on the foreground..It doesnt distract me. Heck, I have alot of similar shots like you do(blur in the foreground) Good shot...

the colors in this image are dead on gorgeous.....and what a combination.....

it looks as though you applied a blurred vignette to your image.....i think it might be a tad overdone...i would suggest deleting your blur and go back with a lighter hand.....and possibly experiment with a different layer mode for your vignette like overlay or multiply to draw that focus to the center that you seem to be looking for...

great shot....

I agree with peeper (promise I'm no following you around peeper!)

For me the vignetting instantly distracts from the great colour contrast. It would still be a powerful shot with out the vignet blur.

Where are those lovely red lady bugs when you want one perched on a leaf!

Colors are very nice !
I admit that there is a bit too much blur. If you want to apply a special effect to this image i would suggest the orton effect, quite easy to make with gimp for instance :

take a look at this :

Sorry to say but I'm not a fan. Though Blur can be a hugely successful tool for us, I just don't feel like it was used correctly here and therefore ruined the shot for me. Also as everyone loved the vibrant colours, I think they're great as well, but just a little over saturated.

Hi Vishi,

I enjoy your photo. I find it striking. I would have liked to see more of the body of water (presume ocean) and none of the objects (roof, auto whatever) that is situated between the foliage and the water; and I agree with WP, where is a lady bug when you need one?

Thx,
