Default Lonely Pawn

My first post, I thought I would make it a critique post to get to know everyone.

This is part of a series of pictures that I took called "The Lonely Pawn". The idea was to carry this pawn and my camera around for a while and take pictures of it in different places. This particular picture was taken on the floor of my local library. Looking back I would have done some things different, but I kind of had to work quick while setting up this shot. I didn't really want to explain why I was laying on the floor of the library with a pawn and a camera.

Let me know what you think.

GreenLantern, Welcome

Good idea, when a subject is all that's missing in a shot. If the pawn were less blown out in the highlights, and shifted to the right side with light casting shadow to the left, a lasting view would result. Try for better sharpness on a Macro, too.
