I think your depth of field is right on the money. The colors ar nice but her hand is cut off.

I really like the colors in the pictures but the arm she is leaning on looks stiff and unatural. Great focus though! You're doing a great job!

The only thing I would change is cropping. If you take the left side all the way to the seam in her shirt and the bottom all the way to the stitching(getting rid of the hand), this would be a very strong portrait. I really like the eye contact, skin tones, and DoF. These really are nice shots and the comments are just tiny things to make them even better.

Loosen up the crop some and it would look a lot better, too many missing body parts.

Well I didn't read anything in the first post, but with this one, I see two images:
The right side, and the left side. There is a line down the middle almost separating the two. If you look at the orientation of her body, and which way she is looking, it is directly out of the photo, cutting off the rest of it.

But I have to say, the DOF that is there, is really great

Indeed. Everything is great, but, I think you could improve it with a tighter crop.

Be aware of sun flare (possibly on her hip)

kimspics,

Repose, reshoot, remarkable. Looks as if she had cut the boyfriend out of a recent photo, where she liked her half.

Default Meredith take3

I read everyones remarks- thanks. I cropped to the left and took out the stiff arm. I went up from the bottom and took away the hand. Does this look any better. ( what I liked in the other was how the pond grass matched her shirt and hair with the brown tones. ( I love browns).
