I was out playing with my new camera, taking lots of pictures as you do, when about 3 or 4hrs into my session I discovered that I had accidently put the iso on a terribly high iso setting. When I got home I looked though all the pictures I had taken before I discovered my error, most of them are yuck! But I found this one I think I like, however Im not sure if its because I acually like the picture or if its just my attempt at denying my stupid time lost error.
Im hoping you guys can give me an unbiased opinion. Thanks in advance.

It looks like you have plenty of noise in there, so that'll probably be hard to remove without making your image really soft or really grainy (particularly since the noise is so visible even when the image is so small). I did the same thing a few months back - I went out and took some shots that were pretty decent only to get home and realize I had the ISO set for 1600.
The good news is that you learn pretty quick to double check the ISO after something like that - so it's not a bad thing.

Despite the noise, I'm a bit unclear as to what exactly I'm looking at, which I've found can either intrigue someone or bore them.
With no background information or context from other parts of the image I'm somewhat turned off. Perhaps a different perspective/composition of this subject, or even some background information and what this particular image means to you would probably help me find a similar interest in it.

@Jimmy I think with my current post processing skills (or more correctly lack of said skills) Im starting to think this picture is a lost cause. |
