Default Duck, Duck...

Ducks (and pretty ripples)

Sorry, no goose here. I just really liked the texture of the water; I'm less enthused about the formation of the ducks. I just cant seem to get a better crop of them though. Does this work as is?

LOL, I feel like a bird of prey looking for dinner

I too really like the water texture. I have been taking lots of water shots this week because I have been fascinated with the winter light and the ripples. I am afraid the ducks get lost (because that's what they were created to do) in the water from this angle.

yup, not that big of a fan of the angle either. My focus was really the water, but the ducks were in there, and I guess had to serve as a foreground. I'm working on upping the saturation of the ducks to help them stand out.

Thumbs up

It hurt my sensitive lil eye bobbles to look at this at first!

Fantastic texture of the water but it just takes over so much. Would you have been able to get a similar amount of marbling from a lower angle with some background involved? I've never been very good with water but if you can get texture like that i'm sure there are lots more opportunities for yourself!
