I'd like to know what people think of this shot! It was my first time trying to capture light trails tonight and I had great fun! In the spirit of this part of the forum I am only posting one shot. The others are here
I did a lil' photoshop, just removing a bollard and cleaning up some debris. Hope you like it and the others on Flickr, ready and willing for advice and opinions..... ![]() 18mm 15sec f/8.0 100 ISO Manual Exposure

Really like this, do you have the original with the other bollard in it so i can see what you did?
I was thinking the lights were from a 'gritter' until i read your flickr, Any reason why you chose iso 100 instead of something else? (or like me, did you forget to change it?) ike, |

This is a really nice shot. It also reminds me of time travel or super speed
I have been playing with light trails myself with our christmas train. It is a lot of fun because of much of the shot is a surprise.

Thanks for your feedback guys. I had great fun taking these shots. This one is actually a bus going through West Gate Tower in Canterbury. Its part of the old Roman wall. You can see it in the other Flickr pics. Finally got my head round layers so the others on Flickr are all composites of three images. Hope you like, may do another critique thread when I've finished a couple more. Ike - Bollard was in the very bottom right, you could only see the left half of it and I just cloned it out. I used 100 ISO because the sensor doesn't have to be very sensitive to pick up all the light.

Cheers! This was my favourite from all the shots and a bit a fluke really! the gate is so thin that buses have to slow right down to sqeeze the wing mirrors through giving that really stretched out view. Did a bit of Photohop on it as well which I was quite pleased with!
There's nothing like approval from your peers to get you all excited and eager to get back out there!
