Default torched heavens...

i found this during my editing marathon....

IMG_5073

i opted for my point and shoot on a recent visit to a casino to catch my husband's long term idol, gino vannelli....my intent was to take his and my husband's photograph together at the meet and greet afterward....the casino was amazing, like they all are, with great ceilings and scuptures....this is of the ice bar with it's "sky" behind it....

post was minimal, with the only notable action of a layer of smart blur adjusted for opacity...

so, what do you think?....too dark....too.....something?

thanks for your time..

I just want to STOP, & tell you what I feel about you babe. I just want to STOP..... Oh sorry!! I couldn't help myself! You guys are lucky you can't actually hear me sing. Now to your picture.

I like the shot just the way it is. Wouldn't change anything. I'm jealous you got to see Gino Vinnelli! Did you get a shot of the two? Can you share it with us(ME!)?

PS. Watch for this weeks return of "Classic Rock Challenge"

peeperita,

More future-from-way-back-when looking Olympics-suggesting signal-light-to-Heaven sort of thimg. Ice bar? See, you never know where wonderful color and shape will show up. Then you preserved it well.

jiminy....i just sat here for the longest time trying to name this thread and every darned word of yours between the hyphens came along.....i settled on the olympics in space...

this is the first ice bar i had ever seen....it gets its name from this super cooled well behind the bar top, completely coated in a rime of frost, where you can set your beverage and it cools and cools and cools....i image eventually it turns the drink to ice as well....

thanks for looking....

peeperita,

Thanks for showing. If your alcohol freezes, they're watering down your drink.

"A Rime of Frost..." May I use that on a photo?
