"innocence"
this was also taken today- I turned this into B&W using picasa- I tried gimp but cannot figure it out and forgot what I did in that yesterday. Does this look o.k . Is it a good overall portrait and close up ( that is what I am practicing on now mostly )

This is a fine example of how a gaze can lead the viewer right out of a composition, down/out. And one will be rewarded by staying in frame longer. Good b/w, eyes focussed, and placement 2/3 in, works well.

Very nice dof and a very pretty girl. I love that you got up close. I wish her eyes were looking at the camera, I think they would be striking. As JC said, they give you the feeling of leading you out of the shot.
