Personally, I think i'd move her, take a photo of her somewhere else.. with a way less cluttered background. I find it a little distracting.. Another little thing of note, either, get in close for a torso shot / face shot, or, make sure you get the feet in :-) Good to hve a wife / partner that will model for you! makes practicing great fun.. look forward to seeing more of your work..

your wife is just beautiful but when I look @ this pic - the picture on the wall is distracting and seems to be comming out of both sides of her head. also I think the couch does nothing for the pic- I suggest that you have her pose behind a plain white background or some complimentary color. Your wife should be the focus. ( wow! I feel pretty good with this critiqueing thing- this is fun).
