Hello there!
So second thread, here we go Hope im getting everything right first time. The picture below is a pretty huge icicle in the middle of a tiny waterfall. I was able to crawl out in the middle on the waterfall (only standing on pure ice!) and take the shot. There was a lot of splashing water, and i noticed some drops on the lense after taking the shot, but haven't discovered any marks of that on the picture. Lucky me i think? You can view a compilation of images i have taken out in the snow in the last few days here: http://photo.frieze.dk/winter2008/ EXIF info: Exposure: 1/125 Aperture: f/3.2 ISO Speed: 200 Flash: Not fired Light: Reflective light from surrounding snow, cloudy sky

I am definitely not an expert but just a few things I noticed as a viewer... I received several comments about an icicle picture I took about including in the frame the place where the icicle started as well as where it ended, if possible. I would have liked to see that here, but I'm not sure if that would have been possible based on the precarious situation of the shot. I also think the twig in the background to the right is a little distracting I would have either removed it or tried not to include it in the shot. Otherwise a very interesting subject and the light is reflecting nicely through the icicle. =) Keep them coming, I love that you are trying out different things! =)
