I think if there was a clearer background. Like without seeing her dress. i'm no expert though.

i agree...can you desaturate everything except the flowers? ugh....i dont even know if that would look right. something about the flowers not being real and the "busy" part of her dress is bothering me....

maybe if you crop it a little more so that the flowers are cut in half....i think that would make the photo almost square, but i don't think you should show as much of the flowers, IMHO. Does the photo go up any higher or is this the original size of the photo? If not, trying cropping it up higher so more of the hands are showing and less of the flowers.

I'm no expert either though!

That was the original. I kind of composed it to get a little of the dress, the rings and the bouquet. Guess 3 objects is too much, huh? I guess the MAIN focal point is the rings. Just wanted to try the rings and the bouquet.

Here's one edit.

ring bouquet crop adjust

No, not normally! I think just in this case, since her dress does have the RED details, it might be too much.

I kinda left this one to see what happened and it went in the right direction. Besides the crop, the hands were too light and the colors weren't really popping. This is a much better offering but now his sleeve has gone from a fake looking gray to fake looking black. You might try masking the sleeve and treating it separately.

Two trouble spots are the overexposed bit to the left, and the little white flowers. If you're willing to spend the time, some cloning may be able to help the flowers. I tend to think that a much tighter crop left and right is in order. One reason is the bright left, and the other is the flower going up his sleeve looks kinda phunny to me. A feathered lasso tool around the bright of her hand and a little adjustment there could help.

Mostly this is a little over-exposed. With the crop, I think the addition of the dress's detail isn't bothersome. Consider handling the dress as a subject unto itself.

I'm only using CorelPhotopaint, so some of that will have to wait till I get Elements.
