Hello,
Second lot of pictures for me since I bought my D80 jsut 3 days ago. Got up this morning to take some dawn pictures, here are some of my favorites below, although there are another 10 on THIS flickr set. How do you decide between all of your shots?! I simply can't make up my mind which are the better shots. There are diffrent things I like about them all, but they are all far to similar to be displayed as diffrent shots. Any help? Here are my inital favorites. No post-processing on any of them yet. Just straight from camera to mac to flickr. ![]() ![]() ![]() Please check out the rest on flickr HERE. I think i should just not shoot as much, that way i dont have to make so many choices between shots. I find choosing between shots is far harder than pressing the shutter. Thanks in advance Eric |

That last one is my favorite. The warm colors and the ducks are great!

I think as amateur photographers we should take a lot of pictures. Having too many shots we like is a good thing
. It certainly doesn't always happen to me!I like the fourth picture you posted the best. It has foreground interest with the sillouetted geese and their reflection, the horizon isn't centered, and the portrait version cuts off some of the extra on the sides. Keep taking lots of shots and posting them here! |

Thanks for all the encoragement!
I'm beginning to get worried about my hard drive space. I can see this could be an expensive hobby. The thing that is driving me mad is that i have 5 or 6 versions of each of the pictures posted here, as well as all the ones on flickr and more. But in each version there is jsut a little something diffrent, slightly more to the left, horizon is pushed up a bit, exposed SLIGHTY diffrently. I flick through the various versions, and my head hurts. As soon as you settle on one, you look at the next pic - just to make sure.. and you change your mind! Oh well, its all good fun Thanks again, Eric.
