Default Boy Swimming

Hi, i'm also new on this forum and is Afrikaans speaking and live in a area where we don't often speak english, but i try my best. The foto of the boy was taken wit my Nikon D40x and a 55-200 nikon lens.

What i need to know is the exposure right , because other photo's from other people always look so colourfull.

wow...what a moment to capture. Although, he looks quite frightful. I think you have captured the emotion generated by this boy in your photo. Your framing of the boy is good too to give some depth into what kind of water he is in. Well done.

Well it looks alrite to me. If you can go back and try some more snaps, maybe you could pull back a bit and capture the full wave in frame. This will hopefully show a huge wave and in it a small boy is enclosed.

Great Shot! I would suggest cropping it down so that there's less sand in the bottom half of the picture.
