Default Mud Maid

Took this one New Years day in cornwall. I really liked the sculpture and wanted to try and make it pop out from the background. I do not have a flash gun but wondered what I should be doing better in these low light/dull conditions. Bit of PS to boost the contrast and add the vignetting. Love to hear peoples thoughts and suggestions. Feel free to edit and repost any of my photos

Winnig Post,

Posting this caused me to go check out Flickr to see what the story was, and lo and behold, there you are Winning Post, a difference I had been bugged by since your first post! Is that a typo, or did you decide to change it for DPS?

Overall there is a pleasantness to the photo, but until I tilted my head to the right, I thought "There is no real subject here."

Without giving it away, that's an excellent sculpture and a good image of it. Well done.

It was a typo when i signed up at DPS!!! GGGRRRRR! Have sent a message to a moderator to try and change but haven't heard anything from them. So yes, it should read Winning Post!

Winning Post,

You can change it: click on "User CP" above left, which will take you to your profile page. Look on left for (I think) "Edit Avatar." Retype correction, and you're "Winnig" no more.
